Ranieri: I dedicate the victory to Roma fans and I’m thinking about the next match
After the match, Ranieri expressed his great happiness with this victory, directing special words to the fans and players.
Ranieri said: “We dedicate this victory to the fans who couldn’t attend, we came here with determination and insistence on achieving victory, and even though the refereeing decisions were against us, we would have left with our heads held high. We had a great first half hour and were very organized, and we succeeded in closing all the spaces against Inter.”
He added: “I am very happy for the players and for the fans. This team has never won against the big teams before, and today they did it with sacrifice and high spirit. Now we have to continue with the same performance because we have a tough match coming up against Fiorentina, who are also going through an excellent period.”
Regarding his coaching future, Ranieri clarified: “Right now, all my thoughts are focused on the Fiorentina match. I will enjoy this moment when the season is over. All I want is good for the club, the players, and the fans. Will I miss the bench? Certainly, but in the worst case, I will go sit in the park.”
