A Spanish media report revealed the expected punishments for the Real Madrid trio of Jude Bellingham, Lucas Vazquez, and Antonio Rudiger, following the events of the El Clasico yesterday.
The trio received red cards in the final moments of the second extra half, due to their protests against the referee’s decisions and attempts to assault him.
Barcelona secured the Copa del Rey final with a score of (3-2) after extra time.
The Spanish network “COPE” mentioned that Bellingham and Vazquez are expected to be suspended for two matches, with the punishment to be applied in next season’s Copa del Rey.
The source added that Rudiger is at risk of being suspended for a period ranging from 4 to 12 matches, and the punishment will be applied in La Liga if the suspension period is 4 matches or more.
