Referee for Arsenal vs Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League

UEFA has announced the appointment of a Slovenian refereeing team to manage the match between English club Arsenal and French club Paris Saint-Germain in the first leg of the UEFA Champions League semi-final.

Arsenal will host Paris Saint-Germain next Tuesday evening at the Emirates Stadium, before the return leg takes place on Wednesday, May 7, at the Parc des Princes in the French capital, Paris.

UEFA has chosen international referee Slavko Vinčić from Slovenia to officiate the highly anticipated match, with assistance from Tomaz Klancnik and Andraz Kovacic, while Matej Jug will serve as the fourth official.

In the Video Assistant Referee (VAR) room, Slovenian Alen Borošak will be present alongside German Dennis Higler.

It is worth noting that Arsenal has fond memories with referee Slavko Vinčić, as he officiated the match between the two teams in the group stage this season, which ended with the Gunners winning 2-0 at the Emirates Stadium.

Arsenal reached the semi-finals of the Champions League after eliminating Real Madrid, while Paris Saint-Germain qualified after defeating Aston Villa.
