Mustafa Shouber, the goalkeeper of Al Ahly, sent a message of support to Mohamed Abdel-Moneim, the star of French club Nice, after he suffered a tear in his cruciate ligament.
Shouber said via Instagram: “What God wills, happens. Wishing you a swift recovery, my dear, and may you return even better and stronger.”
Mohamed Abdel-Moneim left the field during his team’s match against Paris Saint-Germain in the 31st round of the French league after sustaining the injury, and Nice later announced that the injury was a tear in the knee’s cruciate ligament.
The match ended with Nice winning 3-1.
