The Spanish club Real Madrid has identified the player they will seek to sign in the event that Brazilian star Vinicius Junior departs during the summer transfer window.
The English newspaper “The Athletic” reported that the royal club will attempt to sign Norwegian Erling Haaland from Manchester City if Vinicius leaves.
Signing Haaland has been a long-standing goal for Real Madrid and its president Florentino Perez since he was a player at Borussia Dortmund several years ago.
Naturally, Real Madrid’s task will not be easy, as City is expected to hold onto their top scorer, who has a contract with the club until the summer of 2034.
