Good News in Bayern Munich Training

Bayern Munich’s training session today, Monday, brought good news to fans as the duo Manuel Neuer, the team’s goalkeeper and captain, and French defender Dayot Upamecano, returned to individual ball training on the training pitch, according to an official statement from the Bavarian club.

Bayern Munich clarified that the players engaged in individual ball training, marking a positive step towards regaining their fitness before the end of the current season.

Upamecano had sustained an injury to his left knee joint after returning from international duty with the French national team during the international break in March, which led to him undergoing surgery.

The French defender began running training on April 9, before recently starting ball training, enhancing his chances of participating in the remaining matches of the team.

As for Manuel Neuer, he was injured in early March while celebrating one of Jamal Musiala’s goals against Bayer Leverkusen in the Champions League, and he has been sidelined since then after suffering a setback in his rehabilitation program on March 22.
