I Fear Them Not and I Do Not Know Them!

Before the anticipated clash between Saudi Al-Hilal and South Korea’s Guangzhou, the Korean team’s goalkeeper Kim Kyung-min made fiery statements that unsettled the calculations. The goalkeeper’s words were not just enthusiasm; they carried a direct challenge to one of the continent’s strongest clubs, igniting the psychological warfare ahead of the decisive match in the AFC Champions League.

Kim Kyung-min stated that his team feels no fear in facing Al-Hilal. He confirmed that Guangzhou is ready to prove its strength in front of the world. He added that Korean football deserves respect and appreciation on the Asian stage.

Kim indicated that his team plans to finish the match within the ninety minutes. He rejected any scenario that could lead to extra time or penalties. He described the match as an opportunity to respond to doubters regarding his team’s capabilities.

The goalkeeper said that he does not know most of the Al-Hilal players and does not follow them much. He only excluded Ruben Neves, Cancelo, and Yassine Bounou from his comments. His statement surprised fans and was seen as a belittlement of the opponent.

Despite the star-studded lineup of Al-Hilal, Kim expressed excessive confidence in winning. He emphasized that big names mean nothing in front of the strength of collective performance. He considered his only task to be stopping attacks, not worrying about names.

The match will take place in Jeddah as part of the quarter-finals of the AFC Champions League. The winner will face the victor of the match between Al-Ahli and Buriram United. All eyes are eagerly directed towards the anticipated clash between Al-Hilal and Guangzhou.
