Significant Absences in the Qadisiyah vs. Al-Raed Semi-Final Match

Qadisiyah is preparing to face Al-Raed in the semi-finals of the King’s Cup, amidst tactical decisions from Spanish coach Michel Gonzalez, who is considering resting some of his star players to maintain their readiness before the anticipated match against Al-Ettifaq.

The Spanish coach is contemplating resting key players during the match against Al-Raed, especially since the match against Al-Ettifaq will take place just 72 hours later, making him cautious about fatigue and injuries in light of the fierce competition for spots in the AFC Champions League.

If Qadisiyah takes a comfortable lead, Gonzalez may make early substitutions to preserve his players’ energy, focusing on securing qualification with minimal effort.

Al-Raed enters the match with notable absences, the most prominent of which is their first-choice goalkeeper Mishari Senior, who is suspended due to accumulated yellow cards, alongside the absence of Zakaria Hawsawi due to a disciplinary decision following the recent match against Al-Wahda.

Despite the importance of the cup match, Qadisiyah continues its preparations for the league match against Al-Ettifaq, as it aims to maintain its fourth position with 51 points and get closer to securing a spot in the Asian tournament.
