Tottenham Hotspur has advanced to the quarterfinals of the UEFA Europa League after defeating Alkmaar 3-1 in the second leg of the Round of 16 at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
The first leg ended with Alkmaar winning 1-0.
Tottenham took the lead through Wilson Odobert in the 27th minute, followed by a second goal from James Maddison in the 48th minute for Tottenham.
In the 63rd minute, Alkmaar scored their only goal through Pierre Koopmeiners, and then Wilson Odobert netted a third goal for Tottenham in the 74th minute.
Tottenham will face Frankfurt in the quarterfinals.
