A Historic Night for Arsenal, and We Trust Our Ability to Win the Title

Declan Rice, Arsenal’s midfield star, expressed his immense happiness after his team’s historic qualification for the Champions League semi-finals, following a 2-1 victory over Real Madrid in the second leg of the quarter-finals, securing the Gunners’ passage with an aggregate score of 5-1.

Rice said: “It’s a very special night for us, a truly historic night. We had a clear goal in this competition, which is to go far and win it, and we are working hard to achieve that.”
[PRA] He added: “We came to Madrid with a strong belief that we could win. We were completely confident that we could deliver a strong performance and secure qualification from a tough stadium, and we turned that belief into reality. What a wonderful night for this team!”
[PRA] He continued: “Since I joined Arsenal, I felt that this team is on an upward trajectory. We are performing excellently in the Champions League and have complete confidence in the coach. What he is doing is incredible, and qualifying for the semi-finals is a huge achievement for us.”
[PRA] Regarding the controversy surrounding the penalty that Real Madrid demanded, Rice clarified: “I knew perfectly well that it was not a penalty. Yes, I was pressuring Kylian Mbappe, but in a legitimate way. I am an honest man, and I did not commit any foul.”
[PRA] Rice concluded his statements by discussing the upcoming match against Paris Saint-Germain, saying: “They are a very strong team, and we have played against them before, but they are now completely different. We know the challenge that awaits us, and we will be ready for it.”
