Ancelotti’s Last Season with Real Madrid

The journey of Italian coach Carlo Ancelotti is approaching its end with Real Madrid, despite the fact that the coach has a contract with the royal club until the summer of 2026.

Real Madrid was eliminated from the quarter-finals of the Champions League at the hands of Arsenal after losing 3-0 in the first leg and then 2-1 in the second leg.

Several reports from Spain have confirmed that Ancelotti’s continuation at Real Madrid next season is impossible, and that Florentino Pérez has made his decision not to retain the Italian coach.

The reports indicated that Real Madrid’s management, led by Pérez, is grateful to the Italian coach who has achieved significant accomplishments over the past years, but the club believes it is time for a change.

Spanish media noted that Ancelotti’s departure from Real Madrid will be amicable, and he may continue to coach the team until the end of the Club World Cup.

The Spanish network “Relief” reported that Real Madrid might part ways with Ancelotti immediately if they lose the La Liga and the Copa del Rey.
