Manchester United’s Plan for the Summer Transfer Market

Manchester United is preparing to make a strong entry into the upcoming summer transfer market, aiming to sign a prolific striker and a new goalkeeper, following a disappointing season that saw a clear decline in performance and results.

The team suffered its 15th loss in the league this season against Wolverhampton, increasing pressure on the management to correct the course.

Manchester United has scored only 38 goals in 33 matches, a weak number for a team of the size of the Red Devils, and striker Rasmus Hojlund has failed to make an impact, scoring just one goal in the last 28 matches.

According to the website “CaughtOffside”, the club prioritizes signing a strong striker capable of finishing chances and making a difference, with notable names on United’s radar including Victor Osimhen of Napoli, currently on loan at Galatasaray, and William Delap, a striker for Ipswich Town, who has scored 12 goals in the league this season.

Coach Ruben Amorim wants to strengthen the goalkeeper position, given the fluctuating performance of Andre Onana and his several impactful mistakes, with Bart Verbruggen, the Brighton goalkeeper, being a top candidate to join and provide the necessary competition in this position.
