Officially.. Postponement of Serie A Matches
The Italian Football League announced via its official account on the X platform, the cancellation of today’s matches in the framework of round 33 of this season’s league competition.
The postponement of Serie A matches today, Monday, came after the official announcement of the death of Pope Francis at the age of 88.
The Italian Football League stated: “Following the death of Pope Francis, the Italian Football League confirms the postponement of today’s league matches, and the rescheduled match dates will be announced later.”
Four matches were scheduled to take place today in Serie A, which are: Torino vs Udinese, Cagliari vs Fiorentina, Genoa vs Lazio, and Parma vs Juventus.
