Mendy’s Injury Nature and Duration of Absence
Real Madrid Club has revealed the nature of the injury sustained by French star Ferland Mendy during the Copa del Rey final.
The club stated: “After the examinations conducted on our player Ferland Mendy by the medical services of Real Madrid, his condition was diagnosed as a tear in the tendon of the rectus femoris muscle in the right quadriceps.”
According to information from journalist Arancha Rodríguez, Mendy’s absence will extend for two and a half months.
It is now confirmed that Mendy will miss the remainder of the current season, as well as the Club World Cup.
