Manchester United Opens Door for Garnacho’s Departure

Manchester United is preparing to make extensive changes to its squad during the summer transfer window, amid a disappointing season for the team under coach Ruben Amorim, as the Red Devils occupy a low position in the Premier League table.

According to ‘CaughtOffside’, United’s management is open to selling Argentine winger Alejandro Garnacho if a suitable offer comes in, despite him previously being considered a key pillar for the club’s future.

Napoli leads the race to sign Garnacho, having shown strong interest in the player since last January, even making an offer close to United’s asking price at that time. With the player’s value set at around 50 million euros, the Italian club is preparing to make another attempt to compensate for the departure of Khvicha Kvaratskhelia.

Antonio Conte, the manager of Napoli, sees Garnacho as an ideal option for his playing style, especially after stipulating that he needs strong signings to continue leading the team next season.

On the other hand, Chelsea has entered the competition, as it seeks to strengthen its left flank, amid an unclear future for Raheem Sterling and Mykhailo Mudryk, while Barcelona wishes to include the player and assign him a pivotal role in its new project.

Alongside Garnacho, Manchester United is expected to put forward the name of striker Rasmus Hojlund in the market, coinciding with the imminent signing of Brazilian Matheus Cunha from Wolverhampton, as part of the team’s rebuilding efforts.
