Fahd Bin Nafel, president of Saudi Al-Hilal Club, expressed his disappointment after being eliminated from the semi-finals of the Asian Champions League by Saudi Al-Ahli with a score of 3-1.
He said after the match: “I apologize to Al-Hilal fans who love to see their team always in the lead, I take full responsibility for all mistakes.”
He added: “My beginning with the club was in Asia and it may be my end with the management of Al-Hilal Club in Asia. I am a fan and supporter of Al-Hilal before I am the chairman of the board.”
He concluded: “I will discuss with the supporting member Prince Al-Waleed bin Talal what the team needs and all matters including the presidency of the club.”
