According to The Athletic, DC United has opened negotiations with 32-year-old Pogba, who has become a free agent since terminating his contract with Juventus last November, following his suspension due to a doping case in September 2023, which officially ended in March 2025 after the penalty was reduced to 18 months.
Pogba has been seen at several Major League Soccer matches this season, which has fueled speculation about his potential move to one of its clubs, most notably DC United, which is looking for a new big star after Wayne Rooney’s departure.
It is worth noting that Pogba is available for immediate signing, even though the transfer market in Major League Soccer will not open until July 24, as he is a free agent.
