Max Eberl, the sporting director of Bayern Munich, spoke about the future of English player Eric Dier.
Eberl stated: “Eric has confirmed his importance since the injury of Dayot Upamecano, and he has shown resilience in performance. He is present and knows what he can do.”
He continued: “He is a player of great importance to us at this stage. We will see who will join the squad [for next season] on August 1st.”
It is worth noting that Dier’s current contract with the Bavarian club ends at the end of the current season.
