Rudiger Apologizes After Clasico Events

Real Madrid lost the cup final 3-2 after extra time.
In the final moments of the second extra time, some Real Madrid players expressed their anger towards the referee, who blew his whistle during a dangerous attack for Real Madrid due to a foul on Mbappe.
Rudiger, who was on the bench, threw a water bottle at the referee and attempted to confront him, but his teammates and coaching staff prevented him.
Rudiger wrote on his account on the X platform: “There is no excuse for my behavior last night. I am very sorry, and I apologize to the referee.”
He added: “We played a great match since the second half. After 111 minutes, I was no longer able to help my team, and before the final whistle, I made a mistake. I apologize again to the referee and to everyone who was disappointed last night.”
The German defender is now facing a suspension of between 4 to 12 matches.
