Barcelona star Ferran Torres appeared in a press statement after winning the Copa del Rey against Real Madrid (3-2) after extra time.
Torres said: “It was a good time to give the fans something to delight them. Enjoy it, but don’t overdo it, because the Champions League semi-final is coming.”
He added: “Did you score a goal and you’re the top scorer of the tournament? I try to work hard and persistently. I have the talent needed to achieve success.”
He concluded: “A new era? I don’t know if it is, but it gives us a new chance at life.”
