Bergwijn Clarifies His Stance on Leaving the Union and Returning to Europe

Dutch star Steven Bergwijn of Al-Ittihad has expressed his clear desire to remain with the team in the upcoming period, confirming his happiness with the current atmosphere and his lack of thoughts about returning to Europe.

In a media statement, Bergwijn said: “I want to continue with Al-Ittihad, I feel comfortable here, and I am not currently thinking about returning to European pitches.”

The player indicated that he aims to continue his journey with the club, affirming his full commitment to achieving successes and helping the team reach its future goals.

It is noteworthy that Bergwijn joined Al-Ittihad in the summer of 2024, coming from Ajax Amsterdam for a fee of 23 million dollars.
