UEFA has announced the appointment of a Slovenian refereeing team to officiate the match between English club Arsenal and French club Paris Saint-Germain in the first leg of the UEFA Champions League semi-finals.

Arsenal will host Paris Saint-Germain next Tuesday evening at the Emirates Stadium, before the second leg takes place on Wednesday, May 7, at the Parc des Princes in the French capital, Paris.

UEFA has chosen international Slovenian referee Slavko Vinčić to officiate the anticipated match, assisted by Tomaz Klančnik and Andraž Kovacič, while Matej Jug will serve as the fourth official.

In the Video Assistant Referee room, Slovenian Alen Borošak will be present, alongside German Dennis Higler.

It is worth noting that Arsenal has fond memories with referee Slavko Vinčić, as he officiated the match between the two teams in the group stage this season, which ended with the Gunners winning 2-0 at the Emirates Stadium.

Arsenal reached the semi-finals of the Champions League after eliminating Real Madrid, while Paris Saint-Germain advanced after defeating Aston Villa.
