Officially.. Nice announces Mohamed Abdel-Moneim’s ACL injury
Nice achieved a victory over Paris Saint-Germain yesterday, Friday, with a score of 3-1 in a match within the framework of the 31st round of the French league.
During the match, Abdel-Moneim suffered an injury and left the field in the 66th minute.
The club’s statement said: “The injury will remain a significant dark spot in the victory of the game in Paris (3-1). We were playing in the 63rd minute at the Parc des Princes when Mohamed Abdel-Moneim fell inside the penalty area. The initial images made us fear a serious injury. Various medical examinations conducted after the match confirmed these fears, as Mohamed Abdel-Moneim suffered a tear in the ACL.”
It concluded: “Nice dedicates the three points to him and will do everything possible to support him as much as possible during the months of recovery, until he returns to the pitch stronger than before.”
