Arrest of Barcelona Fan Before the Clasico

A Spanish media report stated that local police arrested a Barcelona fan just hours before the Clasico on Saturday evening.

The La Cartuja Stadium in Seville is hosting the Copa del Rey final between Real Madrid and Barcelona.

The Spanish network ‘Cope’ reported that police arrested a Catalan fan after he got into a fight with a Real Madrid supporter in the Plaza Campana in Seville.

The source added that the Catalan fan broke the nose of the Real Madrid supporter during the altercation, which led to his arrest by the police.

It is worth mentioning that the atmosphere surrounding the Clasico has been very intense in recent hours, following the controversy that arose after the press conference held by the refereeing team yesterday.

Referee De Burgos broke down in tears during the press conference due to the criticism referees are facing, in addition to reports published by the Real Madrid channel against referees and officiating, while VAR referee Gonzalez Fuertes confirmed that they would take legal action against Real Madrid in a hostile tone.
