Martin Guastadiseño, the agent of Matias Soulé, the Italian Roma player, confirmed that the Argentine star has rejected the offer to join the Saudi League.
Guastadiseño stated in remarks to the Saudi newspaper “Al-Riyadiyah”: “Officials from the Saudi League contacted me in the past few days to inquire about Matias Soulé’s conditions for joining.”
He added: “I did present the matter to the player for the second time (after the first time last summer), but he refused. He prefers to continue in Europe due to his young age, as he believes he can offer a lot there.”
The player has participated in 34 matches with Roma since the beginning of the current season, scoring 4 goals and providing 2 assists.
