Real Madrid Issues Official Statement Regarding Clasico Crisis

The club stated in its statement: “Real Madrid considers the public statements made today by the referees appointed for the Copa del Rey final, scheduled for tomorrow, April 26, 2025, to be unacceptable.”
It added: “These protests, which suddenly highlighted videos from a media outlet protected by freedom of expression, such as Real Madrid TV, which were deliberately executed 24 hours before one of the participants in the final, once again demonstrate the clear and evident hostility of these referees towards Real Madrid.”
It emphasized: “More shocking statements have been used, in a threatening tone, referring to the unity of the referees, to announce alleged measures or actions that fall far short of the principles of justice, objectivity, and integrity that should prevail just hours before a football event that attracts the attention of hundreds of millions of people around the world.”
It concluded: “Given the seriousness of what has occurred, Real Madrid hopes that the officials of the Spanish Football Federation and the refereeing institution will act accordingly and take the necessary measures to defend the dignity of the institutions they represent.”
