Juventus is Monitoring Parma Defender

The young defender Giovanni Leoni, a player for Parma, has caught the attention of Juventus officials after his standout performance in the 1-0 victory against the Bianconeri in Serie A. Juventus officials praised his ability to stop their attackers, which contributed to Parma’s valuable win.
Leoni, who is 18 years old, joined Parma last season for 5 million euros, plus 3 million euros in add-ons, quickly demonstrating the club’s investment in the young player was worthwhile.
Reports indicate that Juventus had already been monitoring Leoni, and his outstanding performance against them has intensified the Italian club’s interest. However, Parma plans to increase the player’s price, now demanding three times the initial contract value.
On another note, reports have added that Inter Milan and some English and Spanish clubs are also following Leoni’s development, making his future even more intriguing in the upcoming transfer market.
