The Spanish club Real Madrid has identified the player they will sign in case the Brazilian star Vinicius Junior leaves during the summer transfers.
The English newspaper “The Athletic” reported that Real Madrid will try to sign Norwegian Erling Haaland from Manchester City if Vinicius departs.
Signing Haaland has been a long-standing goal for Real Madrid and its president Florentino Perez since he was a player for Borussia Dortmund in Germany years ago.
Naturally, Real Madrid’s task will not be easy as City is expected to hold on to their top scorer, who has a contract with the club until the summer of 2034.
