Officially.. Real Sociedad Announces Departure of Coach at Season’s End
The Spanish club Real Sociedad officially announced that head coach Immanuel Algasweel will leave at the end of the season.
Algasweel, who is 53 years old, has spent his entire coaching career so far at the Basque club and has been the head coach of the first team since 2018.
The former player of Sociedad led the team to win the Copa del Rey in 2019, and the team has generally excelled under him in both La Liga and European competitions.
Overall, Sociedad played 325 matches under Algasweel’s leadership, achieving 152 victories.
