A Great Start and a Big Player Mentality

Silva stated in his remarks: “Omar Marmoush has shown himself wonderfully; his start with us has been very good. He is here not only to prove his worth but to demonstrate his full dedication in training and matches.”
He added: “At Manchester City, we are always looking for players who work hard for the team, and Marmoush is a clear example of this type of player.”
Marmoush transferred to Manchester City from Eintracht Frankfurt for 75 million euros and quickly established himself by scoring 7 goals and providing 2 assists since his arrival, making him one of the standout players in the team recently.
Bernardo Silva also addressed the absence of Norwegian striker Erling Haaland from the FA Cup semi-final match against Nottingham Forest due to injury, saying: “Haaland’s absence is definitely impactful, but we are used to dealing with such circumstances, and we will continue to play with the same spirit and seriousness.”
Regarding Marmoush’s ability to compensate for Haaland’s absence, Silva said: “Of course, Omar is not like Erling, but his playing style is somewhat similar; he moves excellently behind defenders and has a strong presence in the penalty area.”
The Portuguese international concluded his statements by saying: “We are confident in our ability to adapt and play well even in Haaland’s absence; we have done it before, and we will continue to deliver outstanding performances in the upcoming matches.”
