The Spanish club Real Betis announced today, Wednesday, the renewal of its contract with veteran center-back Marc Bartra until 2027.
Thus, the journey of the 34-year-old player will continue with the Andalusian club, where he is having his second stint since 2023.
Bartra had played for Betis for 4 seasons between 2018 and 2022, then returned again after a year in which he played with the Turkish club Trabzonspor.
It is worth mentioning that Bartra, who grew up in Espanyol, played for several years thereafter with Barcelona and Borussia Dortmund.
