Javier Tebas, the president of La Liga, believes that Barcelona can win the historic treble this season, while at the same time, the team could also end up with a zero-trophy season.
Tebas stated in his remarks: “Barcelona is leading La Liga, in the semi-finals of the Champions League, and in the final of the Copa del Rey. They could win all three tournaments, or nothing at all.”
He added: “As a loyal Real Madrid fan, I remember the 1982-1983 season: we were competing in five tournaments. We reached the finals in all of them, but we didn’t win anything.”
He concluded: “Let’s see how things will go for Barcelona. La Liga is open, the league final is coming, and Inter won’t be easy in the Champions League.”
