Despite the result, Enrique defended his players’ performance: “I don’t think we lost control in the second half; I saw complete control, but we were facing a tough opponent with excellent attackers, and they had an effective moment in their equalizing goal.”
He explained: “In the first 30 minutes, we lacked movement off the ball, but the performance improved after that; we were more able to penetrate and advance, but things slipped a bit out of our hands with their goal.”
Regarding Paris Saint-Germain’s readiness to face Arsenal in the Champions League, Enrique commented: “Arsenal’s style of play will determine the scenario; will they press?
