Satisfied with Our Performance Against Al Wahda

Matias Yaicela, the coach of Al Ahli Saudi, expressed his satisfaction with the victory achieved by his team against Al Wahda in the league.

Al Ahli won against Al Wahda with a score of 3-2 in a match within the framework of the 29th round of the Saudi Professional League.

Yaicela said in the press conference after the match: “We faced a tough opponent who was well-prepared, especially given their recent series of positive results.”

He explained: “We needed to strengthen the goal we scored early on, and in football, those who score more win, and I am convinced with what we presented today.”

Yaicela added: “In stoppage time, we did not clear the ball well from set pieces, and such goals should not be conceded in that manner, and we should not focus on the issue of stoppage time.”

He continued: “It was important to win this encounter and gain confidence before the upcoming Asian match. I have a philosophy of instilling confidence in young talented players, and of course, the number of foreign players in the league is limited and not open, so we do not include some players.”
