The Spanish club Barcelona wishes to retain Polish goalkeeper Wojciech Szczęsny, according to Marca newspaper.
The newspaper reported that Portuguese sporting director Deco has made an offer to Szczęsny to extend his contract for another year.
This comes after the veteran goalkeeper delivered an outstanding performance in most of the matches he participated in with the Catalan team.
It is worth noting that Szczęsny decided to retire about a year ago, but after the injury of Marc-André ter Stegen, he returned to play and joined Barcelona on a free transfer.
