Al-Ittihad Achieves Historic Comeback Against Al-Shabab and Secures Final Qualification

Al-Ittihad Club secured a thrilling victory against their rival Al-Shabab Club with a score of 3-2 in the match that brought the two teams together in the semi-finals of the King Abdulaziz Cup.

Al-Ittihad opened the scoring in the 14th minute through a penalty successfully converted by Fabinho, while the players of Al-Shabab managed to equalize in the 64th minute through Cristian Guanca.

In the 66th minute, Cristian Guanca struck again, scoring the second goal for Al-Shabab, and Al-Ittihad equalized with a goal from Danilo Pereira in the 90+2 minute.

Danilo Pereira then scored his second goal of the match and the third for his team in the 90+9 minute, putting his team ahead with a score of 3-2 after trailing 2-1.

With this precious victory, Al-Ittihad successfully secured a spot in the final of the King Abdulaziz Cup, awaiting the winner of the match between Al-Qadisiyah and Al-Raed, which will take place tomorrow, Wednesday, April 2, 2025.
